Hot-tempered 15-year-old Ichigo Kurosaki, the hero of the popular fantasy-adventure Bleach, has the unsettling ability to see spirits who are unable to rest in peace. His sixth sense leads him to Rukia, a Soul Reaper who destroys Hollows (soul-devouring monsters) and ensures the deceased find repose with the Soul Society. When she’s injured in battle, Rukia transfers her sword and much of her power to Ichigo, whose spiritual energy makes him a formidable substitute Soul Reaper. But the orange-haired teenager isn’t sure he wants the job: too many risks and moral dilemmas.

My Thoughts:

This is my first manga series. It is a great one at that. Ichigo himself is an amazing protagonist, since he is a normal human becoming a soul reaper, along with the other main characters (Ex:Chad, Renji). Soul Reapers in general are amazing people, being souls who have come forth to combat the Hollows, and to return wandering souls to the Soul Society.

Out of all the characters, Kon is my favorite, simply because he is the most hilarious comic relief character I have seen. EVER. That and he is trapped inside the body of an orange lion doll. Which I find absolutely Hilarious.

If I were to rate this it would have a 14/15. Simply because the story does slow in later issues.

This is the 10th review I have done, there will be a title on every review starting with #11.
