Synopsis:

To save her mother’s life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters — never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and her best friend, Simon, has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

As Clary uncovers more about her family’s past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadowhunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadowhunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he’s willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City — whatever the cost?

Love is a mortal sin and the secrets of the past prove deadly as Clary and Jace face down Valentine in the final installment of the New York Times bestselling The Mortal Instruments.

My Thoughts:

I don’t know how many times I can say  “LOVED IT!” about a book series before I start to sound like a babbling fan girl, but umm…  I did! Atleast according to my reading updates, I did.  I read this a couple of weeks ago, when I sat down and read the entire series. Now, I absolutely can NOT wait for book 4, City of Fallen Angels, and the prequel Clockwork Angel.  It’s killing me not having them, but I want all my copies to “go together” so I will wait for the paperbacks. LOL

CITY OF GLASS is AMAZING.  I don’t know what else to say!  I even cried, and I’m not ashamed to say it!  Ok, what do I want to say about CoG…

  • Luke is still HAWT! *me-ow poppy… me-owwww*
  • Magnus is awesome
  • Simon is awesome
  • Clary is pissed
  • We meet Sebastian, who is both hawt and creepy.
  • Angels are scary
  • I am confused how *someone* is still alive after we read them killed
  • Luke is still hawt.  (I think I may love him and his wolfy self. lol)
  • I totally cry, dammit.
  • Alec + Magnus still make me  happy!
  • I can’t believe someone is who they are! CRAY—ZY! (no spoilers from ME ladies!)
  • and and… after the something big happens… I totally needed a smoke! *I dont SMOKE!*

phew…

Yes, incase you didn’t guess it… READ THIS BOOK.  LOL
