Clockwork Sky by Madeleine Rosca

Clockwork sky is a Steampunk-esque manga from the mind of Madeleine Rosca. Taking place in London, the miraculous factory, Ember, now manufactures many of the technological steam powered machines used by London. A popular product would be the Steambots. The London’s police force has a steambot named Sky, who is equipped with more combat mechanisms than anything. The Owner of Ember, Erasmus Croach, has been asked by the police force to assist Sky in solving the mystery of the missing children from the slums. At the same time, Croach’s niece Sally Peppers escaped from captivity on a Velocipede to enter a race in the slums, what could possibly go wrong?

My Personal Rating: 9.5/10

-.5 : It is a bit short for a Manga Volume, though there are six chapters, the lack the saturation of content that I have come to expect from Graphic novels.
