About Sookie Saturday: I read the Southern Vampire Mysteries
last year, flipping through the pages while listening to the audio books. I pulled a butt-numb-a-thon and did all of the books in like 9 days! Go me! Since it had been a while since I read these books, I am flipping back through them to try to refresh myself and exactly what goes down in each book. So much happens in each book, please forgive any plot mix ups on my part. My plan is to do a SOOKIE Review every Saturday, so for the next 10 (hopefully 11 if I grab the newest one!) weeks – we’ll be celebrating SOOKIE SATURDAY! Also, please be warned-> Sookie Saturday posts may or may not contain SPOILERS!
weeee! *hops up and down clapping, chanting “Alcide…Alcide..Alcide!” haha. This is probably one of my favorite Sookie books! Why? Because broody Vampire Bill has gone missing and we get to meet sexy Alcide. omg! *fans self* lol. Seriously, Alcide is probably my favorite character from both the books AND the tv show! They did fantastic casting! Holy crickets!

what was I even talking about? hmm… Oh oh, the BOOKS. Ok yeah, so I saw this beautiful man, before I read the books so this, THIS, is what I saw in my head WHILE reading the books. Yay! Tall dark and tons of baggage! Always the ones with baggage! Right?! *sigh*

Ok, so in this book. Vampire Bill is “missing”, and Vampire Eric tells Sookie that Bill has runoff to help his ex, Lorena in Mississippi (uhh.. M..i..crooked letter… crap. You know what I mean.) Sookie is convinced he’s not gone of his own free will and rushes off to save him.
Boy, I really should have inserted that picture last because my eyes keep wondering UPWARD and by the time I notice I’ve stopped typing, drool is already pooling on my keyboard. haha…
Eric sends Alcide…*swoon* to help Sookie find Bill (and protect her). He is a big beefy werewolf man. rawrrrr daddy…
So after a bunch of stuff goes down, yea this is a really fast read too! Less then 300 pages! bah! Anyway, after a few THEY SHOULD HAVE KISSED moments, Sookie ends up hurt and at King Master Russell’s house. (that’s not really his name, King Master, but that’s what I call him.) Where Sookie finds out that Bill is being tortured.
She saves Bill, and some more stuff happens.

When this book ended, I totally put in the book 4 audio book, IMMEDIATELY. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Well, you can collect it – but only if you share some with me. =D
I totally say YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK! For the love of Alcide, just DO IT! lol!!!
