Synopsis (from Amazon):
"With the sure touch of a master" (Crescent Blues), Charlaine Harris delivers "the sort of vampire thrills that make Laurell Hamilton’s Anita Blake novels so popular" (Locus). In Sookie Stackhouse-a Southern cocktail waitress with a supernatural gift-Harris has a created a heroine like few others, and a series that puts the bite back in vampire fiction. Now the hit series launches into hardcover for Sookie’s biggest twist-filled adventure yet.

My Thoughts:

ahhh, book 4.  The book in which I fell in love with Eric.  This book is actually about where this season of the tv show is and I can’t wait to see how they take it from the pages to the tv!

So book 4 is another tiny book that has so much going on!

In this one, dear Vampire Eric has amnesia, and is luckily found running down the road nekkid by none other than Sookie.  Sookie takes Eric home to care for him (and in the process falls for him).  Amnesia Eric is so sweet, omgosh.

The main plot in this one is there is a coven of witches trying to export money from Eric, when Eric doesn’t pay up… well, you get the idea.  Sub-plot: Jason comes up missing, and Sookie is sure the witches have him.

In the end, there is a HUGE battle between bad witches and everyone else.  We also find out where Jason has been, and it’s really kind of an awesome turn in the story! haha!

Warning to parents: this is an adult novel.  It contains: blood, gore, and sexual content
