In My Mailbox June 12 2011

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren in which book bloggers share the books they’ve gotten in the past week.

Wow, just WOW!  I had such an amazing book week this week you guys!  First, the box I have been waiting on for almost 2 months finally showed up!

I am so excited.  Not only did I receive a copy of Cascade: A Novel (River of Time Series) and an ARC of Torrent by Lisa T Bergren, I also got some signed swag, a few copies for a giveaway (which you can enter HERE) AND a copy of WATERFALL to give to my library! 

I am so appreciative of this box, you guys have no idea!  Our library is actually in a temporary location while they renovate, but the selection is just horrible.  I was talking to the librarians and they told me that they didn’t know when they would be buying ANY new titles since funding was so low for the library and they were putting all funds toward the rebuild of the old library.  Anyway, I was telling Lisa’s people about it, so they sent a copy I could give to the library.  THAT, is just awesome! 

I’ve received books from authors for review before, but never more than one book at a time, never extra copies for giveaways, and never an ARC so I just can’t stop GRINNING!!!!!!!!  Excuse me while I dance a happy dance…

After that, I got a HUGE box of horror and fantasy books off of freecycle!

all in all there were over 300 books in this haul (and that didnt include the duplicates of books I already have!)  There were so many books, too many to list so here’s some cover shots of what I have added to my Goodreads so far!

and as if that wasn’t enough greatness this week!  I found out I won the Dark Days of Supernatural giveaway over on the LAT site!  Can you believe that!  I never win anything!  I am so excited I swear I could just pee myself!  I can’t wait for THAT box to get here!  Look at what I won!
