I was trying to think of something interesting to post about today, and then it hit me! You know what?!

TODAY I want to do a shout out and a huge THANK YOU to some of the clients I have worked with in the past!

I get sent books for feature and or review all the time, obviously.  This site wouldn’t exist if I didn’t get those.  But…SOMETIMES, I even get asked for a little more work than that.

I have been asked to help out with everything from: idea development, beta reading, editing, proof setting, marketing strategy and development, publicity, ghost writing, web development, social media marketing, and the list goes on and on. (and sometimes…I even get paid for that work! whut?!)  This work, is the reason I decided to go back to school.

I love every day of what I do here on wearewordnerds. So much so, that when it came time to do something with my life, I decided that I wanted to take that LOVE and make it into my career!

In the last 10 years or so I have been honored to work on some pretty amazing projects. Whether it was: a beta read, an editing job, or a publicity client – these books all have a special place in my heart! I hope these authors, well all authors really – but these in particular, know how much I appreciate them. It was their faith in my abilities to better their projects, that made me believe in myself. Without their allowing me to experience what it was like actually working in the book business, I never would have chosen the publishing industry as my career path.

Sometimes, you just gotta step back, take it all in, and give thanks.
