It by Stephen King

Release Date: 1986-09-15

A promise made twenty-eight years ago calls seven adults to reunite in Derry, Maine, where as teenagers they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children. Unsure that their Losers Club had vanquished the creature all those years ago, the seven had vowed to return to Derry if IT should ever reappear. Now, children are being murdered again and their repressed memories of that summer return as they prepare to do battle with the monster lurking in Derry’s sewers once more.

This is probably my fifth or sixth time reading this book.  I know most people, when asked “What’s your favorite King book”, will answer The Stand or Dark Tower series.  Not me, I say IT.  Big or not, the story is just plain damned fantastic.  So when one of my twitter peeps asked me what Stephen King book they should start with… well, I warned him it was a big ‘un.  He picked it up this week, and talking about it with him on meh twitter made me want to read IT again!  So… I am.  =D

Speakin’ of…

Catch ya later, I gotz some important TO DO type thangs to do…
