struggling….

Hey!

I have no idea what I’ll post about today, I just wanted to update my blog.  Its getting hard for me to think of what to post on here because I tell so much on Facebook.  It’s like I forget that not EVERYONE is on my Facebook, kwim?  LOL..

Today has been a pretty good day so far, considering.  I was so tired when I got up this morning, that I went back to bed.  Which is making my TO DO goals be about 2 hours behind.  It’s ok though, I’m not stressing.  Most stuff I can push off until tomorrow. 

I started exercising again.  So that’s good.  I kind of started paying attention to what I was eating again, back in October.  Not dieting, because the word ‘diet” just makes me freaking starving hungry. LOL…  Anyway, between then and now – even though I ate tons of crap during Thanksgiving, I still managed to lose 10 pounds.  That kind of made me excited. 

What kicked it off for me this time though, was a recent shopping trip with my hubs.  While we were at the mall, my manthang went into a manthang store and was trying on some manthang boots that only a  manthang could love.  LOL.  While I waited, someone came up behind me and tugged my hair.  I turned around ready to punch, and it was the sweetest cute little old lady.  She said she was sorry, she didnt mean to pull it that hard, but she though it was SOOOO pretty she just had to touch it to see if it was real.  Then she told me how pretty I was and asked me if I was on TV?!  You believe THAT?!  I gave her a big ole hug, right there in the middle of the mall. Then I asked her if she forgot her glasses. hahaha!

Exercise wise, Im loving my stability ball.

I’ve had it a few years and never fooled with it.  Sit ups on it are AWESOME.  They don’t hurt my back at ALL but I can sure feel em in my tum the next day!  You just sit on the ball and then kind of roll down until the ball is bracing your lower back, and do the sit ups from there.  NO BACK PAIN! 

Here’s what I do.  I do about 3-4 sets of 12, slowly building up.  My ball isnt as big as his either.  (ROFL that just sounds bad…hahaha)

I also like to do the one thats just like this BUT instead of a sit up, you flip over so the balls on your belly and you do the sit up kind of backwards, raising your back head and shoulders toward the ceiling.  My back is SOOO bad, I can’t do too many of these.  I do like 2 reps of 10 right now and then my back seizes up on me.  I really need to find some exercises to help work my back.  This guy looks funny doing it.  I hope I dont look like that. haha….  On the side: My balls about the same size as his ball if not a bit bigger.  LOL!!!!!!!!

Funny story, if you guys know me at ALL you know I am so uncoordinated with exercise stuff etc.. Well, doing these tiny stability ball exercises with no bad incidents, I felt a little adventurous!  And then I found this one…  Go to the 5 minute mark in this video…

See how she comes up and then raises her butt in the air?  See how EASY that looks? 

Yea, well, Im fat.  I got my butt about halfway up and my ball shot out from under my feet like a pinball… it even made the noise! PING!  hahah!  Needless to say I ate the carpet full on with my face.  Laid there and cry laughed a few minutes, and decided I’d worked out enough that day.  It really was funny.

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, a few hours later, I was trying to sneak thru the downstairs.  Hubs had turned off all the lights to sleep, he sleeps during the day, so I was sneaking through.  Well, apparently, the hubs not only turned off the lights but umm he closed the bedroom door.  It was REALLY dark in there, and I had no idea the door was closed.  BAM!  Full on, face first.  YEP.  I was laughing sooo hard.  And it was LOUD when I hit it, I could hear hubs yelling on the otherside of the door “WTH!  WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” and I was doing that really hard laugh, you know where you cant get any air so NOTHING is coming out of your mouth…  him yelling was just making it worse. LOL!!!!!!!

OH oh!

Since my tennis shoes were over 10 years old, I bought some new tennis shoes yesterday.

We had this HUGE conversation on Facebook about the shoes that claim to tone you just by wearing them.

I bought these for a few reasons.  First: they are WAY cheaper!  I got them AT Payless downtown for like $24.  They were cheaper in the store than they are on their website.  Second: I could get them locally, which meant RIGHT THEN.  Didnt have to drive for an hour to get them, like I would have for the Reeboks… LOL!   I like them pretty well so far.  They do feel weird. But, they also REALLY work you.  The first time I came up the steps today, it was crazy.  My calves and the fronts of my calves were on FIRE!  hahaha. 

Well, anyway…that’s whats going on this week.  NOTTA.  Just been watching what I eat, trying to MOVE a little more, and mostly just trying not to break my face.  bwahaha!
