Tuesday Tour – Home Library Tour – YA Section 02

Week TWO of my home library tour!

Welcome to the 2nd #TUESDAYTOUR post!

Just as a quick recap:  Last week, I posted the first post in a new series I’m doing called the TUESDAY TOUR.  Basicly, since I’m constantly being asked to do an updated bookshelf tour on my youtube channel and I dont have time to do all that filming and editing, I thought…why not do a TUESDAY TOUR post each week?!  Kind of like a MailBag Monday, only instead of showing you all the new stuff I got in the mail this week, I would be featuring a new section of the library!

HOME LIBRARY TOUR – YA SECTION – Part 2

The YA WALL is the first wall you come to as you enter the book room. Today we will look at the rest of the top row.

Bunnys Home Library - YA Wall section 2
Bunnys Home Library – YA Wall section 2

As I mentioned last week, I do not alphabetize my books, rather they are organized by genre (this is the YA section) and then group by series and/or author where applicable. That way if I know the series or know the author I can find all the books that are relevant as needed. If that makes sense? It makes sense to me, anyway…

YA BOOKS – Week 2 – Cubbies 4-6

This week we are finishing off the top row of the YA Wall. As I mentioned last week, I feel like my YA section is pretty standard of any YA section. I own a lot of the series’ that kind of define what YA (which means Young Adult) even is.

psstt…

All the books are linked for you, and I tried really hard to not link to anything over ten bucks.

YA Section 2 Wrap Up… ie: my feelings….

Im still not ashamed of this section.

I really enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series. The only reason I didn’t keep up with buying the books is there are SO MANY and spinoffs of the spinoffs. I will pick them all up, for sure. I’m just waiting until I find them in the second hand shops or yard sales. Your girl can’t afford to spend ALL her book money just trying to keep up with one series! haha

I’ve also loaned out the Divergent series SO MANY TIMES!  Divergent has by far been the “Most LOST/STOLEN Book” in my home library. I think this is the fifth or sixth time I have to replace it. My friends/kids must either think it is the BEST BOOK of all TIME or the most forgetful because it NEVER comes back! haha

Make sure you check back next week for the next part of the YA section of the TUESDAY TOUR of my HOME LIBRARY!

Follow me on INSTAGRAM to stay up to date with what’s new in the library!

To browse my home library shelves, “Friend Me” over on GOODREADS so you can check out my IN MY LIBRARY shelf over there. I try to keep it as updated as possible with my books, but admittedly I am running about a year behind on updating!
