Am Reading: 13 Curses

What’s on your reading list this weekend?  For me, I plan to finish up 13 Curses by Michelle Harrison.  I started it earlier this week, but I sure haven’t made it very far. Funny how life gets in the way of fun things!  Stupid life!  LOL!

The 13 Treasures have become the 13 Curses.

When fairies stole her brother, Red vowed to get him back. Now trapped in the fairy realm, she begs to be seen before the fairy court where she strikes a bargain: Her brother in exchange for all thirteen charms from Tanya’s bracelet. 

Back at Elvesden Manor, Red, Tanya, and Fabian begin a desperate hunt, but as they soon find out, the fairies have done more than hide the charms; they’ve enchanted them with twisted qualities of the thirteen treasures they represent. And the longer the charms are missing, the more dangerous they become.

Can Red, Tanya, and Fabian find all thirteen charms? And if they do, will the fairies keep their promise?

I was really excited to receive it too, not only was it something I really wanted to read but it was my first review copy from Little Brown!  I had to put off starting it though because I learned it was book two in the 13 Treasures series.  You can’t start a series with a book two!  Well, I can’t anyway!  So I had to buy the first book in the series, 13 Treasures by Michelle Harrison. 

I read 13 Treasures  earlier this week, so the review will be up soon!  I absolutely loved it (as in read it in a day), and can’t wait to get going in 13 Curses!
