Book of the Day: Could It Be B12
Happy Monday! I love it when I find books from QUILL DRIVER in my mailbox! Last week they sent me Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses by Sally M. Pacholok RN, and seriously – it could not have been better timing. I actually just got my first B12 prescription in! Talk about timing!
Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses
by Sally M. Pacholok RN

A silent crippler stalks millions of North Americans. It afflicts one person with tremors, makes another depressed or psychotic, and causes agonizing leg pains or paralysis in still another. It can mimic Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, early Parkinson’s disease, diabetic neuropathy, or chronic fatigue syndrome. It can make men or women infertile or cause development disabilities in their children. The disorder is vitamin B12 deficiency. This isn’t a new or fad disease. You’ll find it listed in the textbooks of any first-year medical student. Yet it may be the most misdiagnosed disease and, when this occurs, the consequences can be tragic.
Big Thanks to Quill Driver Books for sending me a copy of this book!!
AND as always, big thanks to you for popping by to see what I was rambling on about. LOL
Hope you have a great week.
Just a reminder, I usually post pics of the books I get right as I get them on to my facebook page so make sure to click over and LIKE the page – then you’ll see what books I get as I get them instead of waiting till I do a “book haul” video. I’ll still do haul videos every couple of weeks, too. So… yeah. All righty then.
