My Thoughts:

One of my many favorite Dragon books! Right from the beginning you are thrust into the action of a warring world. I truly thought the beginning of Eragon was like a prologue, but It turns out it was it the same time period! Now, the main antagonist shows that elegant sense of Corrupt Royalty which I love in reigning antagonists!

Now Eragon himself seemed like a bumbling teenager(Boy that reminds me of someone =3) who knew nothing of the outside world. But who would’ve thought he would have Insane Character Development, along with him being the Protagonist. I also love how Saphira is owning him like a slave in the early parts.

I also found it quite sad for many of the deaths in this book. Trust me, ALOT OF PEOPLE DIE in this book. Like a massacre! But I found it a great book. I especially loved the comedy moments throughout the books. Even after the thrill ride of this great book, it left us with the thought, what happened to the elder brother?
