Filling my Kindle: Jan 13, 2012 + issues
Happy Friday the 13th! Popping on to finish up my last days of “vacation” with another KINDLE load! Yippee!!
I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my new Kindle. I have the touch, and the other night when I turned it on for it to download my days finds – it gave me an “Unable to load Application” error and it just kept rebooting itself! I liked to never got that sucker back up. After about 2 hours it finally seemed to fix itself. Until yesterday. It had the same error all day yesterday. So, of course I googled. Apparently, there is an issue with the software on the Kindle Touch, which is what my Kindle is. It happens when you try to organize your books, because the issue is with the “indexing”. Kindle/Amazon has not answered ANY of the support posts on it. I guess since the newest model is the FIRE, that’s all they care about. Members have been able to fix the issue by deleting ALL the books off their Kindle and resetting it to factory defaults. OMGosh! I don’t want to have to start all over! I only have like 100 books on mine so far, but my gosh. The thing is supposed to be able to hold 3000+. OMGosh! I’m really upset. My Mr. was like, ‘well, at least you didn’t have tons of money invested in it.” Uhhh…I mean, I didn’t buy mine – but my friend did. I’d like to be able to use it, ya know?!
