MakeUp Haul – parts 1 and 2
Hi folks! As promised, here’s the first parts of the makeup haul broke down with links to purchase and if I’ve used the goodies already – I’ll tell ya what I think! =D
Incase you missed the last post, I am reposting the INTRO video for the haul. Just me, explaining why I went on a makeup spree.
Its so easy, when you become a “mom” to kind of put everything else first. Somewhere along the way, I put ME on the back burner. Ya know? And then I woke up one day and realized I hadn’t done anything for ME in a very long time! My gosh, I finally decided to do something for “ME” and I realized my MAKEUP was older than my daughter! That just wouldn’t do!
And now on to the show! haha.

The Wave

I thought this was useless. It runs off of 1 AA battery. The “head” barely wiggles so I don’t see how it is any more beneficial than just the normal motion of washing your face by lathering up your cleanser. My kids enjoy it though, and I am happy to see them both taking more of an interest in their personal grooming, so I guess it wasn’t a total waste of money. I got mine at WALMART for $9.97 (here) but I also found one on AMAZON for $5.40 (here).

OMGOSH, I love this thing!
It really works, I swear it! It makes your nails sooo shiny! You can do it on naked nails and get a high gloss shine so they look polished and you can also use it on polished nails to renew the shine in the polish! I keep using it trying to figure out how it works! LOL!
This is available at WALMART for $2.88 (here) or on AMAZON for $1.18 (here). I got mine in store at Walgreens for $1. It was not on sale, that was the regular price. I love it, and will definitely repurchase when/if this one stops working and needs to be replaced.
SINFUL COLORS NAIL POLISH
Great nail polish! Good solid coverage with ONE COAT, and lasted 5 days before it started to chip. I purchased 6 or 7 colors so far and have not been disappointed in any of the colors I have tried!
This polish can be found online at several shops for anywhere from $2.99 – $6 but it is only $1.99 at WALGREENS. Sorry not sure about the link, Walgreens.com is down for maintenance today. I think this is the correct link, I just can’t be sure because it is pulling the maintenance page right now. LOL!
Pantene Heat Protection & Shine Spray

I was not impressed. I usually love Pantene too, so this makes me sad. I found the spray bottle to not mist the treatment, it more “hoses” it out. The treatment itself is very sticky (think Aquanet) , and after flat ironing my hair felt hard and almost crunchy. I wont be purchasing this product again.
I got mine at WALMART for $5.97 (here) and can be found on AMAZON (here) though, Walmart is cheaper.

LOVE! This product is AMAZING. It feels kind of gross on your hands (like slimy olive oil) but it is a miracle worker on the fuzzies and fly aways! I 100% love this stuff, and have already ordered 2 bottles to have here as “back up” since everything I LOVE usually ends up discontinued. haha!!! “Probably the best thing I have ever bought for my hair. No kidding!”
Looks like you can find this stuff online anywhere from $17-$50. I got mine from FOLICA (here) and used a $10 off coupon. Which you can get too, (HERE). LOVE LOVE companies that thank their customers! yay! I have made 4 orders from them so far, and not been disappointed yet. I’ve saved abt $70 with them so far! Moringa Milk Body Lotion

How it works:

I think this smells fantastic. It almost smells like honeysuckles and fresh cut flowers. I love it. Everyone else in my house thinks it stinks. Daughter says it smells like little old lady, son said it smells like something was left out in the sink, and Mr C said it smells like a$$. LOL I still like it though, and they can just suffer through it!
This stuff is made by and sold by the Body Shop. I found it online at their website and on amazon (here) for the same price and sold by THEM. The difference is – shipping on Amazon was like $3 CHEAPER! LOL!
*on a side: I did see this brand being sold in our Sephora, but they didn’t have Moringa Milk. They only had a couple of scents and not the entire line, so I don’t know Sephora will be carrying this eventually or if they are working the brand out of the store. The Sephora I go to is a small one though, and they don’t carry half of the products they have on the Sephora site so I am not surprised they didn’t carry the full line from the Body Shop.
