March Desktop Challenge at DSO
Another challenge I am hosting in the digital scrapbooking world this month is the DESKTOP CHALLENGE over at DSO.
A DESKTOP CHALLENGE is super easy, quick, and fun. The goal is simply just use the calendar grid provided to make a monthly graphic to fit your computers desktop (the main screen background). If you aren’t sure of your desktops size, you can check it quick easily by going to http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/. Mine, here on the laptop, is 1280 x 800
So my desktop image, if I were making one for this computer would be made at 1280 x 800, but its important to remember where your icons are on your desktop, and to leave a little leeway along the bottom where the task bar resides. That way you can plan out your “layout” so none of your pretty stuff is hidden. 🙂
Here is the one DESKTOP I created for my internet PC.
for supplies I used: Calendar Grid from the challenge – by me,
Photo trims – the 70s pack – by me *available here a DSO*,
and Boundless Love – by Ruth Melody Designs
I hope you decide to play along, it’s so fun to see what everyone does for their desktops. Our computers our infinitely OUR spaces, so you can tell a lot by a person I think by what they show on there! =)
Just for fun I used the “googles” to find out “What your desktop says about you” and to my surprise TONS of articles came up! This one What does your desktop say about you? was really interesting! According to this I am: someone who values balance and proportion and tend to keep a cool head in tricky situations. Likely to be organized and dislike clutter. (haha, ok, I think this article is a little OFF) …
Anyhoo, stop by DSO and join me in the challenge this month. Come on, you know you wanna!
