Supply Haul March 2011
I really have been trying to cut back on my “craft spending” since my personal income is way down, and have been doing a great job of NOT just buying everything I see. However, we were out shopping the other day, and ummm… well I thought I’d show you all the goodies I picked up at Hobby Lobby. =)
See this? This is why I failed at NOT shopping. LOL!!
Here’s what I ended up picking up!
I’ll put a list of stuff at the bottom, linked to either HL or Amazon since that’s usually cheaper than what the Hobby Lobby website has them listed at.
I got these two cling stamps from Stampabilities. They are my first “cling mount” stamps, so we’ll see how I like them.
I also picked up my very first HERO ARTS stamp! YAY ME!!! I love LOVE background stamps, and I love all the projects I see with Hero Arts stuff, so I was really excited to get a big stamp for HALF PRICE!!!
Also nabbed my first PENNY BLACK stamp. This is PERFECT since I bought another bunch of blank postcards a few weeks ago! No more having to run them thru my printer and them coming out all crooked, etc. YAY!!!!!!!!!
And then lastly, this little guy was in the clearance bin. Great for lists and stuff, and if you guys knew how many lists I make… well, these will be FUNCTIONAL not just creative! YAY ME!
This velcro, is actually what I ran in to get. Ran in to spend $3 and spent $30 haha! Oh well, I had a project to do and wanted some velcro. These dots were perfect…
and now my Stickles are all stored hanging upside down off my inkpad holder! Not only out of the way but upside down so the little spout doesn’t get clogged! YAY ME!
Sadly, I can now see exactly how many stickles I have and clearly…I need to go back to Hobby Lobby. LOL!!!!
I also picked up this guy. I was looking for the Signo Uni-ball BROAD gel pen, which NO ONE – not hobby lobby, joanns, or micheals carry! The little sales clerk assured me this would be exactly what I was looking for. umm… NOT! Looks great on kraft cardstock as your writing, but as it dries it just sort of disappears leaving almost like a versamark mark. booo……
