Test Shots From the New Camera
I definitely need to find some kind of class on controlling my new camera and lenses. I did get a couple of good shots, but only a COUPLE. The rest were just plain ole “meh”. Anyway, here’s some tests…
(Gumply)
(Sweetz)
This (above), I don’t understand why the color on everything in the shot is great…except her eyes. Both of my kids have gorgeous bright blue eyes. Why are they so dark in these shots?
For comparison on my skills with the new camera… here are two shots of Snailerby…
This shot is taken with my comfy camera. The Canon G9… I feel its sharp, clear, MACRO. Awesome, if I don’t say so myself. I love how it turned out. I simply set my camera on the AUTO/MACRO setting leaned in close enough the camera was almost on the tank glass, and snapped the shot.
and this one (below) is taken with the new Sony.
I couldn’t get up close to the tank, the camera wouldn’t focus. This was taken standing across the room, and if I zoomed in any more then this – it would blow out and not focus. Note the focus seems to be the rocks and not Snailerby.
