Wordy Wednesday #1
You know…one of my favorite things lately is collecting quotes. Some are quotes from books, some from famous people, some even from friends. It doesn’t matter to me in the least. If the words ‘strike’ me, then I jot them down.
This week, it just seemed a natural thing for me – when I sat down to make up a color swatch for a challenge for the forum – I thought why not do a quote challenge too?
So here is this weeks quote:
“It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.” ? André Gide, Autumn Leaves.
And since this was going to be a crafting challenge, I went a head and made up a word art, using a portion of this quote incase anyone wanted to use it to help complete the challenge.
you can download this wordart HERE
The challenge is pretty simple, use the quote in a project. It can be a card, a scrapbook page, a craft, whatever. I hope to start posting some of my favorite quotes every Wednesday, so we’ll see what happens. Usually when I make plans like a “weekly feature”, life happens and it just doesn’t work. So we’ll have to see what happens with this.
If you decide to use the quote, please photograph or upload your project to somewhere online (you can use my gallery, your blog, or anywhere you like!) and leave me a link down in the comments because I would love to see what you create!
