Inkling by Kenneth Oppel
A few weeks back, we were sent a copy of Inkling by Kenneth Oppel.
Is this not the cutest cover ever? We don’t really have any middle grade readers in the house now, but I was super excited to see this. Sometimes it is nice to just sit back and read something “easy”. Do you know what I mean?
How about you, do you have any favorite middle grade books you enjoy relaxing into? Leave em in the comments down below!
Inkling
Release Date: November 6, 2018
Ethan’s dad is a comic artist whose greatest creation, the mutant superhero Kren, brought him fame and glory. But after his dad’s string of successful books, a tragedy strikes the family and now his dad is completely stuck.
If only artistic talent were hereditary. Ethan is stuck on a graphic-novel project of his own at school and won’t own up to the fact that he can’t draw. When one night an ink-blot creation emerges from his father’s sketchbook, the family’s whole world begins to change.
Featuring artwork by the beloved, award-winning illustrator Sydney Smith, Inkling is a timeless story that speaks to the creator in us all.

Big Thanks to Knopf Books for Young Readers for sending me a copy of Inkling by Kenneth Oppel!!
AND as always, big thanks to you for popping by to see what I was rambling on about. LOL
Hope you have a great week.
Just a reminder, I usually post pics of the books I get right as I get them on to my instagram so make sure to click over and LIKE the page and/or follow my gram – then you’ll see what books I get as I get them instead of waiting till I do a “book haul” video. I’ll still do haul videos every couple of weeks, too. So… yeah. All righty then.
