It’s a book haul, y’all!
I swear I’m trying to get back into the swing of things around here. Trying to get a good schedule worked out for blogging and work and school. It gets overwhelming. Sometimes I have to step back and rethink my routines. I really feel like I am getting the hang of this “adulting “ thing now, though. Seriously. It is about time, right?
Anyway, these are the books we have received to feature here on WeAreWordNerds over the last week. I hope you take a second and check them out.
New Books In My Mailbox Week of Jan 22nd – Jan 29th, 2017
This week, we received a few new kidlit books, some middlegrade, and even a coloring book! Deep down inside, I was really hoping for some new dark fantasy or horror, but no worries. We know plenty of littles to share this week’s haul with.
Kidlit excites me as much as “grown-up” reads, they just don’t take nearly as long to read. haha! Plus, who doesn’t LOVE Curious George?!

And since there is an adult coloring book up in there, I thought I would show you the ones I purchased in the last few weeks. I am finding that coloring is a great way to disconnect from stress. When I sit down and start working on something artistic, it just lets me block out the “adulting” for just a while. It is very calming, and much cheaper than therapy. ha. I hope you will check out these lovely coloring books if this is something that interests you. Prices ranged from $7.99 – $12.99 so definitely an affordable new habit. *wink*
