I just finally read Paper Valentine and it was sooooo good! And I recently read the sequel to The Madman’s Daughter, which is even better than the first book! The Coldest Girl in Coldtown made my list too, but I should have included Splintered and Doll Bones too. I knew this would happen! lol.

I feel like a jackass about MADMAN’S DAUGHTER. I got offered the ARC, and was so busy that I turned it down based solely on the title/cover. Abt two weeks later, when I was putting together my list of books that were coming out the next month, I read the synopsis. DOH! I emailed the publicist back and she said they were all out of ARCs. doh-DOH!!!!!!!! *kick kick kick* <- that would be me, kicking my own ass. So mad at myself. #lessonsLearned #DontJudgeABook haha
Those all look great. I Noticed some YA in your list that look really good!

Thanks! Your list looks pretty awesome too!
I like horror to a point, but for some reasons, I’ve always had a hard time with King. He tends to get so…visual. Nevertheless, Joyland sounds up my alley. (I should clarify that I’m an adult, though I read a lot of YA and my blog mainly deals with them).
Good luck on catching up with your list!

I know a lot of ‘horror’ lovers who can’t stand Stephen King. To each his own, you know? He is my favorite author, and I think the main thing I like about his writing IS how descriptive he is. It makes it feel more believable for me because its so real in his writing. He is wordy though, fo’sho’. LOL
Have a great day, sug! Thanks for stopping by!
Great list, I do regret not reading a couple from your list. I did read Indelible and Icons they were both pretty unique reads.

“Unique” as in refreshing/different/good or “unique” as in “WTF did I just read?!” ?
lol
Hi Bunny!
Paper Valentine left me torn. The main plot was good; the secondary plot was meh.

I also read The Madman’s Daughter and The 5th Wave. Daughter was really middle of the road for me. I was mad I sucked into the hype of The 5th Wave. Ug!

Wow! That’s a big list. No worries, mine is bigger. Actually Splintered is one the books it makes me sadder I missed. I hope this year’s list is shorter.
