Butterfly Blues Card

I have some new favorite THINGS people!!!

I finally whipped out my new I-Rock Tool and gave it a go, and can I just say… “OMG!!!!!!!!” And then I tried my newest Smooch color: Illuminate, and “OMG OMG!!!” lol!!!!!!!

Im 100% totally happy with how this card turned out!

This project is a hybrid card. The wonderful Donna Brown aka Tootlebugz Designs was so kind to RAK me with her lovely digital scrapbooking kit called Blue Butterfly Day. It was so easy to work with! I just made my card face in Paint Shop Pro, Printed it and the butterfly on cardstock. Trimmed them out and added my extra whats its!

I tried out the new Smooch: Illuminate and OMG! I love it!!! Its clear, and add shimmer. Its almost like nailpolish, only different. LOL!!!!!

Then I whipped out my new I-Rock Tool and OMG! I just have this uncontrolable desire to go put bling on EVERYTHING now!!!!!! It was sooooo easy! Just place the gems where ya want em. Push a button in on the tool and touch it to the gem for a few seconds. Wahlahhhhh!

I put some black embossing powder on the butterfly, and added some embroidery floss for antennae, and then I spritzed it with a mix made of perfect pearls and water. Oh come on, you new I wasn’t going to make something WITHOUT using perfect pearls! LOL!!!!!

I added some white stitches with my handy dandy LIQUID PAPER PEN since I don’t have a good white gel pen, lol!!! Then as a finishing touch I rounded the corners with my corner chomper, and edged the card with Broken China and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.
