Meal Plan Monday: Aug 15 2011

Do you plan your weeks cooking ahead of time?  I do.  On Sunday morning I sit down in my office and I plan out what we are going to eat all week.  Meal planning for me, really, is pretty easy.  My Mr. works a weird shift at work that rotates so he is only home for dinner a few nights per week.  Those nights I try to cook a NICE meal with the trimmings.  I mean, he works hard and he deserves it. On the nights Mr. C isn’t home,…

Writing Prompt 1: Can I or Forgive Me

I thought it would be a bit of fun to add writing into the creative section.  I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a blog just for writing prompts, and I already to do journaling prompts and an ABOUT ME class, so why not just include them here in the creative section.  That’s what they are after all.  Creative writing! So for our first writing prompt, take a few minutes and write about this: Which would you rather do: ask for permission or ask for forgiveness? This is the…

School Schedules and Seriously?!

*Phew* what a summer!  That’s all I can say. Today was back to school day, and I was so excited!  I was gonna do THIS and was gonna do THAT.  That was until I decided to take a little nappypoo.  I mean, heck, I’d only had 2 hours of sleep.  I was tired.  So, I climbed back in bed and gave the MR implicit instructions that I was to be awakened no later then 9 am.  I had things to do today.  Dammit. I rolled over and looked at the…
