December 2010 Book Club

Last months book club was a huge success!  I loved the book, and especially love that a few folks joined me in reading and we had some great discussions on Skype and FaceBook!  Reading, it seems is becoming a forgotten past-time.  You would think it would be in full bloom with all the reading folks do now a days, via the internet and cell phones.  Its not though.  I was surprised that so many people tell me they haven’t read a book since they were in school.  REALLY? I hope…

my wish for digiscrap designers

Dear Friends, I have spent a busy week cleaning, prepping for the holidays, and doing a little self reflection.  I would be lying if I did not tell you that I have been more than surprised at what I found lurking there.  (both in my home – YUCK! – and in my Self) It is newly apparent to me that in my older age, I am 21 again this year – for the 16th time… anyway, it’s clear to me that as I become older: I become harder and harder…

My friend  Jen Reed is hosting the November 2010 : Ad Challenge over at www.digiscrapobsession.com this month.  The Ad challenge is probably my favorite  of creative challenges, just because its one of the ways I find mojo in my real life, lol.  Ok so that probably makes it not much of a challenge, but it is what it is, so there ya go. The November 2010 : Ad Challenge ad was to use this page and be inspired: and my take on it was pretty similar.  I didn’t even use…
