a cupcakey birthday

another card I made this month.  This one ticked me off like no other, and I finally just said “DONE” even though I wasnt happy with it.  It needed time to dry and get in the mail ASAP…

I used some patterned paper I got from Big Lots, cut the circle out with a coluzzle and spritzed it with perfect pearls.

Colored my new inkadinkdo stamp with some watercolor pencils and a blender pen, then cut it out.

added some glitz n shimmer with my new Sakura gel pens.  The pink is ‘ice-cream” and the silver sparkle is CLEAR Stardust.

mounted it up with dimensional adhesives, and used my pen of liquid paper for the white stitching, LOL.

I really hate how the “Happy Birthday” stamp turned out.  I tried to emboss it and that didnt work, at ALL so I tried to fix it with stickles, and really that just made a mess, but there was no time to redo as I needed to get it in the mail.

anyhoo, another card created.  Satisfaction: fail, but atleast it made it in the mail.  The thought that counts and all of that.  LOL
