DSO AD Challenge – Nov 2010

My friend  Jen Reed is hosting the November 2010 : Ad Challenge over at www.digiscrapobsession.com this month.  The Ad challenge is probably my favorite  of creative challenges, just because its one of the ways I find mojo in my real life, lol.  Ok so that probably makes it not much of a challenge, but it is what it is, so there ya go. The November 2010 : Ad Challenge ad was to use this page and be inspired: and my take on it was pretty similar.  I didn’t even use…

Plus the new job has gone from being a “One day a week, make your own schedule” to “2-3 days a week”  LOL.  Needless to say, the hubs is not pleased.  I am…

Finding mojo

I think my “self” is finally readjusting and coming to terms with no longer having the “stress” of running a big site.  THIS, my friends is a good thing!  I feel myself slowly feeling creative again.  THIS is ALSO a good thing! For a long time, I have wanted to write a series of posts that just focus on finding inspiration in everyday things.  You don’t have to be in an art museum or gallery display to be inspired.  Creative “sparks” are all around you if you just relax enough…

I played around with some of my new crafting supplies today, and made a card for “someone”.  I’m very thankful for my wonderful friends I have made online, and thought I would send a THANK YOU card out to one of them. So Dear Friend, THIS lovely may just be in the mail on the way to YOU! I love this new paper pack called ELLA BLUE from GCD Studios.  I bought it at Hobby Lobby.  It is 8 x 8, not 12 x 12.   I paired it with some…

and then what happened

Dear friends, I tell you what.  Three times I’ve sat down to write a blog post.  Three times I have been pulled away to do something else.  It will happen today, I swear it!  So much has gone on since my last blog post.  So much.  So I think I’ll just touch on a few of the main happenings and leave the detail up for another day. Since my last posting: My stove caught on fire.  Yep, heard a noise and opened the oven door to find it spraying out…
